Same Here, Horrible 1.5 - 2.0 second delay on selecting/moving/clicking the background/icons. I'm bearing with it atm but it makes my computer feel like a sack of ****.... I Have tried increasing the icon cache and both batch scripts that were posted but there's no noticeable difference, I am also using Deskscapes I tried disabling it as well but the problem still remained with fences..
