good morning basj. i tried unistalling yesterday and nothing happened. it wouldn't uninstall at all. when i do try to uninstall my laptop's fan goes to high speed and it becomes unresponsive. i think i'm going to have to get my tech man to have a look at it. he might just format and reload it for me. if he does this i'll reinstall my stardock programs but leave sound packager out for now until stardock release a newer version with hopefully these bugs ironed out. i don't think there's

thank you jan, that was most helpful. basj, this is what i see when i open sound packager, as you can see, no matter what i install it always shows as windows 11 soundpack, and no matter what i apply it always applies the windows 10 default sounds sarah

hi basj the page you displayed aslo displays correct on my soundpackager, however, on the installed tab i see nothing but windows 11 sound packs which seemed to have installed multiple times, and the strdock soundpacks that installed when i installed the program. i cannot see how to post a screenshot to this reply sarah

on a lighter note..............winstep xtreme works fine on windows 10. it may be limited but at least it can change the windows 10 task bar and without hacking the system too. sarah

@ moshi sound packager is not compatible with windows 8 either. but I am running windows 8 and it works a treat
