The beta works perfectly on my surface pro and win8.1 preview, but anyway you can setup the nonbeta one like this: - windows key: starts start8 menu - And then to go to metro start menu simply swipe from the right and press the windows icon. I am really happy with the start8 and I see that with windows8.1 I'll continue be happy with it ;) Really good software from stardock! Greetings, David Lyons
