That's great news! I will look forward to the fix. In the meantime i will continue to lose my blue Spotify icon amidst my 20 other icons. But i can't stop using Start11 taskbar because it lets me resize the taskbar. Dumb Windows 11!
Yes, if i disable the Start11 taskbar, it works fine with the stock Windows 11 taskbar. It did work fine with Start11 until recently. Upon further reflection, i believe it may have started when I inadvertently logged into Spotify from a band's website Spotify link. Even though i already Spotify open at the time.
Hi Basj, I did exactly as you instructed. No change in behavior. I have noticed that when Spotify is not running, and i have it pinned to the Start11 Taskbar, the icon is the normal green. Somehow my Spotify green icon began appearing as a blue Chrome icon: I'm not certain what caused this to happen. The normal green Spotify icon appears when i go back to the stock Windows 11 Taskbar. Pinging this thread. Please add this feature. The shift-right-click works but sometimes the Close gets hidden behind the taskbar. Maybe because i have it 2 rows high? Not sure, i'd rather it be on the context menu. PS i regret going to Windows 11
