As I go along trying to find a solution, I am beginning to think I don't understand what is suposed to happen. When I go to the Modern UI and drag an app down to the bottom of the screen the machine stays on the Start screen I do the same thing to get the Stard screen and then 'window ' it using the overlay in the upper right corner and then close it with the 'X' I get returned to the desktop. Is that the way it is supposed to work? Thanks a
