I was hoping that Start11 would provide a solution for Tiles in Windows 11. Your discourtesy to a customer is disqualifying.
Is Start11 compatible with EdgeTile Creators?
Will custom tile creation/backup/restore be an option? If so, then you've got another customer. (A horizontally-scrolling, parallaxed, unlimited-column-width, Windows 8.x Start option would be wonderful.)
Update: It turns out that the conflict is between ModernMix and Bins, even after a clean install of 8.1. When Bins is running, putting the focus on a Metro app in windowed mode makes the mouse so unresponsive as to be almost dangerous (accidental click-and-drags, etc.). Any ideas? (Other than uninstalling either of the programs.)
If that's the case, then it (sampling rate) doesn't affect anything else. MM shouldn't cripple the system, should it?
Stardock, I'd like a full refund for ModernMix. It's completely useless with Windows 8.1. Thank you.

Hello, all, When a Metro app is running in windowed mode, the system becomes so sluggish that mouse movement looks like a slideshow. Any ideas? Windows 8.1 here.
Being able to change the number of tiles per column and the ordering of tiles would be great. I'd prefer to read across alphabetically within a grouping to find the tile I want, rather than reading two across, then down, then up to the next column, then two across, then down, etc.
Obviously Bodean is a complete retard and missed the free upgrade to full version when released bit. It's so much better for us who've switched to Win8 with Start8 not to ever have to use the ModernUI menu again!
Of course, your preference on this is as valid as mine, but I wanted to share what helped me accept the absence of the Start button and prefer the new Start screen: When
I just posted the same thing in a wishlist. That would go a long way toward answering the only valid complaint against Windows 8 (the Start button and menu are still there, just different and better).
It messed up Windows Live Mail in Windows 7, too.
I understand that Microsoft was trying to push Windows into the touch/modern age without sacrificing backwards compatibility, but running Metro apps full-screen from the Start screen and having legacy programs run in the Desktop "app" is a jarring bifurcation of the UI. ModernMix goes a long way toward fixing that, but I'd like to see these additions to MM: First, the ability to run legacy programs full-screen (without borders) like a Metro app and second, Win-Tab should cycle bet
Would it be possible to provide an option to hide the word "Start" on the Metro screen? Truthfully, it's tacky looking. Obviously we know we're on the "Start" screen. And where it is could be the Clock perhaps. Or just nothing at all. But yes, I really dislike the word "Start" all up in there taking up space. It's gaudy.
"tacky" and "gaudy" are opinion words; I don't mind it. (One of Microsoft'
