Is there a Change Log somewhere that can be reviewed? Thanks, Cheers.
I would suspect this addresses the dxwebsetup.exe libraries issue that was present in the original release.

Neil and team - Installing the runtime libraries resolved my issue as well. Installed > Rebooted > BAM! Thanks for the fast debugging and turnaround.
DS2026 doesn't change wallpapers for me. Please see this thread: https://forums.stardock.com/541666/deskscapes-2026-background/page/1#3993438
I am having the same issue. I have Start 11 v2 installed Never had a previous version of DS installed Installed DS 2026 and rebooted Setting a wallpaper in Windows works great, clicking the button in DS 2026 hangs for a few seconds, then does nothing Computer specs: Windows 11: [Version 10.0.26200.8390] Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9
I don't have any icons in that folder on any of the computers.
" Yup, the functionality we’re considering would sync contents, as well as offering to “copy” the layout from another PC." - This is perfect! In my use case, I have a primary machine, then a few downstream secondaries. All my changes are done on my primary, however I sometimes use the secondaries to consume files. (I personally do not require multi-directional syncs, but I could see maybe som
Thanks for the update and info. While basj is correct (My two computers have two different resolutions and monitor setups), I do find there is value in maintaining the Fence groups across multiple PCs, even if the configurations differ. (I see this as two different things; one is the look (location, DPI), the other is the content.) Thanks! Drew
I have two computers that share a OneDrive account, allowing me to keep them in sync so I can move between them at will. I have Fences installed on both, however I haven't found a way to keep the Fence configuration in sync. I see that I can do backups, but it doesn't look like I can back up one computer and restore the configuration on the other. (I can do this in Start11, but not in Fences.) - Is it possible??
I have v2.07 installed on three different machines and all of them prompted me to install an update, after which I rebooted and all still say I'm at 2.07. I think this issue is wider spread than it seems.
I'm running Windows 11 and have three LG 4K monitors; two are landscape-oriented and one is portrait-oriented. Within Windows Display Settings, the monitors are enumerated this way: Monitor 2 (Landscape), Monitor 3 (Landscape), Monitor 1 (Portrait). (Left, Center, Right) However, in Deskscapes when I am trying to assign different wallpapers to different monitors, Deskscapes shows me: Monitor 1 (3840x2160) Monitor 2 (3840x2160)
Awesome! I also encountered the "mouse wheel setting change" several times but forced myself to be more careful. I'm glad to hear there may be a programmatic fix!
I just downloaded and installed S11 2.04 beta and it resolved so many of the issues that I was having - I can now go back to using it on my production machines! Great work Stardock!!!!! (I take a TON of screenshots using the Windows Snipping Tool and this fix is a game changer! - Resolved issue with sniping tool not showing on taskbar correctly after taking a screenshot with enhanced taskbar enabled.)
Hi everyone! Has anyone else found that when using Start11 and using Outlook (m365), clicking a pinned Outlook icon on the taskbar starts another instance of Outlook rather than maximizing the Outlook window? I have two machines that are running Windows 11 and it only happens on one of them. (As soon as I uninstall Start 11, Outlook behaves just fine.) Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
While I have witnessed the following issues on my primary Windows PC (Version 10.0.22635.2700 - Yes Beta), I have also witnessed these very same issues on my work machine which is running 22631.2506 (Non-beta): (None of these issues are using the rounded taskbar.) - Opening the start menu causes the taskbar to flash; however only when there aren't any additional windows on the screen. (I tried with different menu styles, however it was consistent.) - Sometimes when
This issue disappeared for me once I rebooted my computer again. I just installed beta 3 and no real issues to report yet - Great update so far!!
I am seeing this as well, even with v2.0.0.2. (Full uninstall, reboot, re-install, reboot.) I was able to get it to open the first time during the initial configuration, however after I closed it, I was unable to re-open it. The only option that I changed was to use the Windows default search instead of the one bundled with Start 11.
Maybe I missed a post somewhere, but I am running the latest version of WB, however, the Object Desktop launcher continues to tell me that I have an update. When I update and reboot, nothing changes. (No update of the version and Object Desktop still says Update.) <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/52/12/5212898/c1fa6ad1-ed94-4f7f-87b8-4ca4ff959268.png"
I'd love to have the ability to use the textured taskbar while using Windowsblinds 11, however, it appears that the Windowblinds skin takes over. Plus, this looks like a bug perhaps: I'm running Start11 (b1.35) and WindowsBlinds 11.00.
Last night I took the update and then when the system tray didn't load, I uninstalled Start11 to get it back since I suspected that they were related. I'm going to try and reinstall today (and use the regfix above), however I also may give a little time for things to stabilize a little too. I think many of us expected (maybe falsely expected) the beta channel to be less 'flighty', but over the last six or so months, MS has been keeping both channels in lock-step (not exactly, bu
I installed the latest build this AM and as of now, I can confirm that the pinned icons 'movement' sensitivity appears to be corrected. (I'll post additional feedback if other issues arise.) Maybe I missed it, however is there a changelog for everything that was fixed in this build? Thanks!
I'm bothered that Microsoft rev'ed the beta channel to the same version of the Dev channel. (I understand why they did it, but there are a number of features in the Dev channel that are badly broken and now present in the Beta channel.) Boo!!! :-(
Here's an example of the overlapping/combined icons.
I'm seeing many of the same issues as discussed in this thread, however I'm also seeing that taskbar icons will get sticky after being clicked and will follow the mouse so the taskbar gets out of order quickly. Also, I've seen where icons will overlap each other (i.e., Firefox and Edge icons will combine into a single icon, etc.) Aside from that, I rely on my calendar and it's a major annoyance for it not to appear when clicking the clock.
I would love to see something like this. I can immediately see a benefit based on how I use Fences.
I'm sure something is in the works and will be announced in due time. I have been running the Windows 11 betas for quite some time now and I'm impressed with the level of polish of the OS.
