I was having the same issue, Windows 10 pro Start10 ver 1.05 Left click opens Microsoft Edge Right click and have to select open What fixed the issue: resetting back to Microsoft recommended defaults. Setting > System Display notifications, apps, power > Default apps > Press Reset
