I read that update right after I posted this thread out of frustration and seeing several forum posts saying "Please go buy Object Desktop" - Thanks for the update.

Disabling Wallpaper Engine is a scumbag move. in Fences Stardock Forums

Removing compatibility with Wallpaper Engine to push your own software is a garbage move. I will be uninstalling this software and never touching another stardock product. Absolutely disgusting business decision.
