I'm using Avira and I already have Webguard disabled because it ruins ie9 Beta performance. Doesn't crash it but slows it down and some pages won't load. Anyway, no problem with Linkscanner yet.
I finally found the info. Member Since: 7/19/2001 12:00 AM
This thing is a nightmare. I installed the Beta. It crashed. It wouldn't uninstall properly so the new one won't install. I've given up on the programmers at Microsoft, They're not up to the standards of the last bunch of coders. I now use Zimbra and Picassa and am quite satisfied.
My Dell Studio XPS died in June after 6 months. They had a guy here in 3 days. I couldn't believe it. He replaced the motherboard. No go. Then he replaced the video card. Still nothing but a blinking green light. I told him I thought it was the processor and he agreed. Dell then sent me a NEW machine with a newer processor and twice the video ram! I'm happy although I wish they had extended the warranty which expires in October. That would show true confidence in their product. All things con
This is awesome.
A small request. Could the "more button" for new skins on the front page be relocated since it's so close to the last entry it tends to hit it if the underline doesn't show.
I love it. And I can see from the response it's going to be HUGE!!!
Unfortunately, Chasbo hit the nail on the head. You will need to do a clean install for win 7 to be stable.
I live in Canada so I've had Health Care since I was born. When I was younger (1976) I suddenly developed acute appendicitis. I wasn't working at the time so I had no Health Insurance. I went to the hospital, they registered me in the Health system and I was on the table in an hour. My appendix burst during the operation. In the U.S. I would have died. I'm glad we have Health Care here. Having said that I realize t
I agree there are 3 versions of Windows currently being used extensively. Knowing this shouldn't every skin indicate which ones it's good for? Certainly the ones you pay for should!
I have a Dell XPS studio with the Dell bar. It's just a version of ObjectDock made for Dell. I don't know why you're having a problem with it. Try RocketDock at http://rocketdock.com/ . Maybe it will work.
Looks intriguing, hopefully a Windows 7 blind?
Look people, this vitrios dialogue has gone on too long and gone too far. We're at the stage where "Nobodys right and everybodys wrong". This should be the last post here. Time to move on. By the way, I checked out your galleries. You're both quite talented. Keep up the good work
I've been hanging around here for a long time now (see member number) so I've seen this issue before. Determining the originality of artwork is difficult sometimes but important. However public flogging IS NOT the answer. If you think there is a problem with the artwork, that's what mods and sysops etc. are there for. Notify them, they'll check it out and render a verdict. This can be done without all these hard feelings. In a creative atmosphere, this kind of bickering IS NOT helpf
Can't wait for the movie. Good for kids and oldsters like me.
Hey, I had that purple/greeny skin back then. I loved it!
I agree with narbytrout. Over 25 years I have used AMD and Intel chips in many of their reincarnations and the integration of the I7 with the hardware architechture and Win 7 64bit is a startling advance over what was. At this moment it is the best choice available.
Ditto the Wizard
Hi Dave, my name is Dave too.[e digicons][/e]
[e classic]:congrat:[/e] [e classic][/e] I would be grateful for ANY of your wonderful skins.
I have a similar system from Dell, a Studio XPS with the same chip and OS. I'm a bit of an experimenter (had to system restore 3 times the first two days!) and I've learned to be very careful with 32 bit drivers and programs with this system. I'm sure that in time there will be more 64 bit Win 7 compatible and 32 bit win 7 compatible stuff available but until then be cautious!
I spoke too soon and stand corrected. The tabs ARE NOT SKINNED
i'm running Win 7 64 with WB, IE8, Fences all with no problems on a Dell XPS with the i7 chip. Everything is skinning fine
Any idea when the "Pro" version will be available? I'm specifically interested in the feature which sends an incoming (to the desktop) file to a specific "fence".
