I guess I now know what the problem is. It is not the size, but some applications, like opera browser, don't skin for instance checkboxes the right way.

Hello allthgether, I am a newbee in the skinstudio (Stardock Skinstuio 8.0, Windows 8) and I would like to replace a few images in a already existing skin. For instance the images for checkboxes. The original size in the skin for the checkbox image is 144x12, but my new image is: 216x18. If I import the new image it is not correctly displayed in the skin, because (so I guess) the layer is
