This morning I booted my Win 10 laptop and discovered that the Fences trial I was testing had stopped working and all the (over 200) icons I had classified into several "Fence windows" were sitting on my desktop in layers several icons deep where the Fence windows containing them had been previously situated. I also, at some point – I can’t remember exactly when, saw a message telling me that my Fences trial period was up! My computer took an unusually long time to boot -
