What does Silver Tongue work on? in Fallen Enchantress Stardock Forums

Hi. Silver Tongue says it works on "trained units." Judging from the other spell that says "must be used on trained unit" (the Tome of Flesh one), I thought "trained units" meant non-champions that weren't summoned. That being said, I tried using Silver Tongue on a Garrotte and quit because it mauled my Sov to death. So what does Silver Tongue work on? Is there anything it can be used on that would be worth the 30 Influence? Thanks!

On the topic of interesting tactics, 1x Sov with Summoner, Path of Mage, and access to all forms of magic + 8x Henchmen with Path of Mage, Summon 3 and Water Adept 3 = 9 Level 30+ Ice Elementals with about 150 health each, with each Elem costing you maybe 15 mana? It'd be easier to cast Falling Star, but it's fun watching so many elementals wreck stuff.

Shadowbolt owns. I actually did almost all of my damage to Waerloga (I butchered the spelling, I know) using it. I'd be very interested in running into one of these on one of my games.

I have no idea why there are people that are bothered by stuff being "too strong" in a single player game. As someone else said in another thread, Fallen Enchantress is a toy- it's meant to be played with. We don't have multiplayer where other people will miss out on fun because we're steamrolling them with powerful beasts. We pick traits based on how we want to play. Thanks for the response. You're right. I need to reinstall. Even after removing the mod, my tactical battles are still causing crashes. How very odd. Hi. Sorry if this issue is due to me missing it in the instructions, but after installation, I keep crashing after entering a tactical battle. I think it's because I don't have stormworld_tacticalmaps installed, but the thing is, I checked the files I downloaded from Fallen Enchantress Nexus and there was no folder inside it for stormworld_tacticalmaps.
