Thanks Basj, I've got it! If you want to use the Start11 Taskbar enhancements, you need to change the Windows colour mode to Custom and the default Winows mode to dark with the default app mode to light. Thanks again, Richard
Start11 1.24: If you set the Taskbar to a dark colour, the icons and text in the Notification area remain black and are not visible. This is not the case with the Start Menu, which changes the text colour according to the background darkness..
