Interesting comment. So now, I have all four of my installs installed. And back to the problematic high CPU usage and the taskbar issue with multi-screen setups. Firstly, I have the start button and menu to the left position of screen. Now the custom start button option. It's ON by default!!! Otherwise, how would you tempt users to use your/ or their own custom start images. I personally have only used your stock options (going back to Start8). Now having

I just checked Start11 based on setting the menu etc. centered. I'm on a 32" 4k 16x9 and I measured (with a ruler) the dead center. The start menu is to the left of dead center. As to be expected, rather than centered to the horizontal plane. The icons in the taskbar are centered to the horizontal plane as well. I have checked the setting on three machines (different screens) and the results are the same.

As noted, I removed curtains. As for Groupy and Fences, both apps are running as per within windows 10, meaning no issues. Both are used as they do serve (for me) the purpose they are designed to do. Are you really saying un-install don't use your apps on win11? For clarity I have run windows 11 moving from Dev and Beta channels. All Stardock apps installed have worked without issue. * Curtains was not installed on the 3 screen PC, only the single screen

And so, the fun stuff. I ran the Purge_StartALL.cmd which generated several errors, as seen in the photo taken (no print screen or copy to paste option due to how it ran). I removed existing setting as I do. After a re-boot of the PC, I re-installed Start11 v0.9. Single taskbar = no issue. But the moment I turned on "Show my taskbar on all displays" I got the explorer running higher CPU, slowing the machine down, with the "hourglass" when I moved the mouse over the task

No, I do not have any monitor management software (DisplayFusion, ActualMultipleMonitors, etc) installed or running. winver is noted below as far as the PC with the 3 screens, I'm using Nvidia driver v472.12-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql and below is the setup from the control panel <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/49/24/4924094/33a2a552-d242-413b

Yes, thanks. I did remove curtains. Yet the issue remains for the x3 monitor setup. Again, as noted, the two prior beta apps worked without issue.

While working another PC (windows 11 2200.194, single screen). I have just removed the earlier version of Start11, and found S10 and S8 data folders, when cleaning AppData/Roaming/Stardock and AppData/Local/ Stardock). Program Files (x86)/ Stardock also had data folder/ files. I forgot to note that in the above post. Also, this third PC was a clean install of windows 11.

I just installed the start11 v0.9 update. on a single screen laptop with no issue. On a three screen windows 11, explorer fails to run properly and the task bar fails to work, with most of it blanked out. Three reinstalls and no success. It must be the three screen set up. OS version 2200.194 is the same on all machines. I'll go back to V0.55 it worked on all machines. And await a new version.
