On several of my DX Themes I like to use a text-clock, but sometimes I want the time and/or date to display vertically, instead of horizontally. Is there a way for me to do that through the object properties or do I need to do some scripting (which I have NO knowledge of how to do or even where to begin). TIA for all help

Recently a friend and I were talking about movie quotes and which were our favorite lines. Two that I love are 1) Said with a thick mexican accent, "Badges? Badges!?! We don't have no stinking badges, and what's more we don't need no stinking badges!" -- The Treasure of the Sierra Madres And 2) Said while strapped to a table as a laser is slowly aiming a red beam of death towards his crotch: Bond:

Navigate to where you have IconX installed. Place your mouse pointer on the IconX.exe file, click and hold down the right mouse button (hold button during this entire process), then the button drag the file to the Start button on the Taskbar, when the menu pops up drag file to All Programs, then drag to Startup directory on the Start Menu, when menu pops up release right mouse button, and finally click on 'create shortcut here' that should cause IconX

There used to be several Marvel Comics related themes on the site, in fact, I had purchased the X-Men suite(which sadly, left a lot to be desired) and was now thinking about buying the Spiderman theme for my son, who loves anything related (even remotely) to Spiderman. Are the still here, if not, why were they removed and can I possibly find them elsewhere? TIA </

I'm one of those people that like change. When it came to Windows, every time I found out that there was something that could be changed (Wallpapers, colors, sound, etc.), I did it. Then after using a desktop theme program for a couple of years, I was looking for a new wallpaper, was lead to this place by Google and was immediately HOOKED! The rest as they say, is history. (Who says history is boring?) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles

I never could really get into Heinlein, Herbert or some of the other 'deep' authors. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking their work, I've been around the genre enough to know they're some of the sci fi's elite. But I guess I like my sci fi to be like a good summer movie, in the popcorn vein. Ya know, a page turning, can't put it down, gonna be late, what's gonna happen next kinda story. With Asimov, any and all of the robot stories.

Do you like Sci Fi? If so, what genre? Stories relating to planetary colonization? A.I.? Time Travel? The reason I ask is that after a discussion with a friend recently, we came to the conclusion that individuals (at least most of our friends) who are into computers are also into science fiction. Personally, I like time travel, space travel, computer/robotic/a.i. stories. One of the best artificial intelligence stories I've EVER read i

I have to connect to the internet using dial-up. I know, I HAVE heard of DSL and Cable. Unfortunately, there is NO WAY I'm gonna pay $50(US) for cable access, and DSL is not available in my area. Plus, how could I justify it to the wife, especially when she's wanting to get out of this apartment and into a house. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile

Sounds more...off shoot religion...more.. cultish. I got a real cool idea for robes and hats. Hey Bichur, when the hats and robes are ready let me know so I can be one of the first in line. . .or would wanting to be first be considered egotistical? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Win
