The Love Dress On a Tuesday afternoon a woman stopped by unannounced at her recently married son's house. She rang the doorbell and walked in. She was shocked to see her daughter-in-law lying on the couch, totally naked. Soft music was playing, and the aroma of perfume filled the room. "What are you doing?" she asked. "I'm waiting for my husband to come home from work," the daughter-in-law answered. "But you're n

I would like to proffer a small suggestion concerning WB5, and also get your opinion as to whether it would be something that you think YOU would like to see implemented in a future WB5 update (The voice of the people and so forth). Oh, if Stardock did do something like this I would be willing to relinquish any and all possible intellectual property rights. I'm in this for the fun of it, o.k.? I would like to see added to the WB5 con fig a k

Before I state what I beleive, I will provide the basis that is the foundation of my beleif. 1. I believe in all mighty God. 2. I believe the Bible is God's Word. That it tells us all we need to know about life, how to be happy, what our ultimate outcome is. 3. I believe that when you die, that's it, you are dead. Non-funtioning, non-existant, concious[?] of nothing. Now, when Jesus was on earth he r

I have CursorXP Plus and was looking for updates on both the CursorXP Website and on SDC as well. Where can I find the updates for this prog, or does Stardock even do updates for it? That was part of the reason I purchased the PLUS verson. thanks for any info.

I must be insane to put up with this. I just renewed my OD Net sub a couple of days ago and looked forward with great anticipation to giving WB5 a run. I mean the skins are absolutely beautiful! Anyways, I try updating to WB5 and after almost TWO HOURS to download a 7 meg file (I know I'm on dial-up, but come on!!!), SDC crashes with just 2% to go! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/SadAngry.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

Hi. I finally got around to renewing my OD Sub, and when I try to install/upgrade WB5 it completes to about 98, 99% then I get the dialog that SDC has run into a problem and will close, which it does. I upgraded several other Stardock programs without incident. It only seems to be WB5 that has run into a problem. I don't want to regret having renewed my sub because I love these programs, but I have been frustrated to the end of my wits. Can someone

So what do you think DX should be, Brad. You are the boss and owner of Stardock, and while I'm sure that you want to take the desires of your customers and WC Members into consideration, there may come a time when you simply have to say, "From now on DX will exclusively be a [FILL IN THE BLANK] tool." Which in turn will simplify development, bug correction, and tweaking. Just my two cents. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/

For me, one of the most unusual things has been the fact that I have developed a taste for rock. Aerosmith & Pink Floyd are the two concerts I would most likely shell out a few buck to go and see. I hope I have as much energy as Steven Tyler when I'm in my 50's.

Last night I purchased four tracks from iTunes, and as I was looking through my library, I was kinda surprised at the variety of music I had. And we're talking about tracks that I listen to pretty often. The reason I found this surprising was because I'm a 41 year old, black male with a wife and a 3 year old son. Typically, you would think that my music preference would be 70's & 80's soul. But I have classical, country, rap, rock, r&b, jazz and alter

Interesting. One thing that seems to be common to the women here is that they have a long history in computing. But the same could probably be said for most of the guys here as well. Anyway, congrats to all the ladies who have been driving the keyboardsfor a while and may you continue to do so for many more years.

Hey, how many more times can I get caught surfing here by the boss before I have to take his threats of termination seriously? What's REALLY bad is that you don't realize you're big time hooked until it's too late.

The widget worked well. (Thanks Bichur.) Smooth as silk. Can anyone tell me why I seem to be having probs with sysmetrix or the Omni mail widget? I don't know if this has any anything to do with the problem, but I do have pop enabled on my account. Should it be set to something else? Thanks to all for the tips and advice!

I have Sysmetrix, Incredimail, DesktopX, a mail notifier widget, and AVG Antivirus. I can't seem to get the widget to read the Gmail account. I keep getting a error regarding contacting the server, or if I try to check the account through Sysmetrix, it disconnects my dial up connection. Can anyone tell me what may be going on? Thanks for any advice you have to offer>

I finally got a gmail account, but neither the mail widgets nor sysmetrix seem to be working. I'm pretty sure I have them configured correctly, but Sysmetrix, for example, will totally close my dial up connection when I try to check my gmail account. I have a gmail account, Sysmetrix, Incredimail, DesktopX, and AVG Antivirus. So if there's anyone who has a similar setup that works, please tell me how you did it. Thanks in Advance. <img

This is a great line, though often misquoted: "Let's make him an offer he can't refuse." or variations of that. However, the actual line goes: "We're gonna make him an offer he can't refuse." No matter how you say it, it's a cool line.
