The red bits are just a Bitmap used with the "Use custom taskbar background texture" Feature of Start11. (and yes it is big enough and set to strech) The Computer is a Dell Inspiron 7706 2in1 Convertible with a Touchscreen (2k native resolution), the externals are 2x 1080p 32" LED Screens and 1x 4k 58" LED Screen. The Problem occurs with and without the externals connected, no matter the resolution or DPI settings.

This only happens if you do not have a viable Icon at your Desktop, or no Icons at all (Desktop --> Right Click --> View --> Show Desktop Icons). Actually that is an realy bad idea! If you type at your desktop, you should highlight the next viable icon for your typing. If Start11 is catching that input, it would disturp normal usage of the whole desktop environment. (maybe it would disturp much more then only Desktop usage itself)
