Thanks, that does work, but it means I cannot use the program with the Everything Service running. But it is fine like that. Many thanks

Sorry Sean that does not work. I had the Everything program minimised but on opening the saved group (which included the said program) it stayed minimised and did not join the group.
I use 'Everything ' daily and have tried to save it when pinned in with my other tabs. Although it happily combines with the other tabs when the group is saved and reopened it is no longer there. Is there any workaround or setting that I can use to ensure it opens with the other saved tabs (group)?

Okay, thanks very much
I have a saved group called 'Test'. If I click on it from the three dots (under saved group) a new window opens with only one of the tabs shown (I have four in the group). If I however, go to the saved tabs in appdata (clicking on Manage Saved Groups) and click on the 'Test' file I get all the four tabs that I saved. In summary it looks like there is a bug in the Groupy that does not hyperlink correctly to the file I saved (?). Hope I explained that clearly? &nbs
I will upgrade as long as Start8 can hide the new Start button, which I'm sure it will!
If the new Start Button is just like the 'hot corner' currently at the lower left corner, I presume Start8 will be configured to switch this off, like hot corners are selectable now?
I don't understand how it can work, as the new start button will be in the same place as the Start8 button and will be hard coded into 8.1. Maybe when the preview is out things will be clearer?
Ah.....worked. Took 20 seconds. It looks like it's not responding because there is only a minimised box on the taskbar!
Sorry this fails to install! When I click on it it just hangs on the taskbar without any response. Running Windows 8 x64.
The same on my PC, using Hibernate, always have to click twice
Hi, Unless I'm misunderstanding what you are saying, you can already do what you have asked for. Right click on the item you want from control panel. I tried 'Programs & Features' and create a desktop shortcut, then right click on that and pin it to Start8. I know that's long winded, but it does work! <
