Thanks for your input Roloccolor . It is pretty hard to justify 120.00 I only paid 64.00.for my Windows 7 64 bit home premium I just could not afford the ultimate even-though it was the O.S I would have preferred . All in all I am pretty happy with my current O.S . I have all the stardock programs except those for windows 8 I love this stuff and to all you skinners out there KUDOS TO YOU AWESOME SKINS EVERY WHERE. Thanks Roloccolor iam learning and all input is valuable to me I learn more from individuals like you than from any tech so please at times be patient with me as this is the only enjoyment in my life I am severally disabled and home bound so my PC is all i really have. I just want to be sure before I decide to possibly put out 119.99 on 8.1 so all of your input means alot again thanks!

For all of you running Windows 7 32 or 64 bit their will be no further service packs for this O.S , Microsoft just

I can't say for sure about the files and folders , ALMonty is downloading it as we speak he will probably have more info soon. As far as stardock they already have support for windows 8.1 I do believe . Just remember this back up, back up, back up always just in case.

No it is not an ISO, it does not auto-install I believe Microsoft has to verify that you have a genuine windows 8 o.s then you download, at the moment their servers are very slow due to all the people upgrading so be patient !

Hey everyone Windows 8.1 is out now you can download for free if you are running Windows 8, if you are running a later O.S you will have to wait till tomorrow and it will cost you 119.00 dollars so those of you running Windows 8 lucky dogs , for the rest of us MO MONEY!

If your running 64bit you could try these Waterfox, Cyberfox, or maybe Nightly. I have tried them all and they seem to
