Could this possibly be something going on with the Windows 10 update? Lots of little things seem to be slightly odd since my computer informed me that lots of exciting new features had been installed overnight... Some of the problems seem to have cleared up. Would MS fix some bits without announcing what they had done?

I just noticed the same thing... And it seems that at least some Windows 10 apps (as opposed to programs) can't be opened from the "Universal Apps" menu.
