Known issues While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows. tbd

Another thing I would like to know is if you reset Fences to a default layout: Does it reproduce? Second, and while still in this default layout, create a 'Temp' folder on the desktop. If you take all the non-Windows icons \ documents (so no Recycle bin and such) on your desktop and 'move' them to this temp folder, does it reproduce? If i

While I understand very well how frustrating these issues can be, support takes time and people from Stardock were quick to offer assistance and we would have continued to do so for the duration of your issue. Again, very pleased to read it i

I have had trouble ever since Fences 5 was installed but not with Fences 4 that I remember. I do use roaming profiles on my network, yes. Hope that helps. I have been at Stardock for almost 12 years and ObjectBar had been discontinued LONG before I arrived. While I am sure the decision-makers at the time had more explicit reasons to not continue to develop ObjectBar, the following assumptions are fair: Other products and their feature set moved into its space Continued development time did not match up with the product's popularity Trends in the industry, or the evolution of Windows itself, did not make contin

What Anvi-virus software are you using? Could it be Webroot \ Endpoint? If so, its unlikely anyone will allow you to disable it but if so, please try it. Also, have you ever had Fences 5 installed prior and it was fine, but something changed, and now it does not? Did you run Fences 4 prior and it was fine? Are you using a 'Roaming' profile on your network? Sean Drohan Stardock Product Lifecycle Manager

This is not the easiest chore but if you have Win 11 Pro and open a ' Windows Sanbox ' on it, install Start11 v2.08, can you reproduce the issue? If you can, keep the conditions for producing the issue intact and export your Start11 setting (About tab) and upload them to a shared drive of your choice (OneDrive, DropBox, etc) and reply with a share link to it.
Evertying works just fine when I am on the same subnet. I then test to connect the same remote computer to mobile router. Now KVM Pro is not able to connect.

My hope was to use KVM Pro similarly as Teamviewer or Google Remote Desktop allowing to connect anywhere.
While this is being explored for future versions, this is not possible without a central server to manage the connections across disparate isolated networks. <p

While not always ideal for such setups, Multiplicity is working as intended. One just has to be mindful of how MP currently works and form habits to access the monitors they wish in unique setups. Using Mulltiplcity's hotkey and wraparound features can help with them. That said, this is a feature request we are aware of for future versions of Multiplicity.
Hi Sdrohan, I just installed this version of Fences. Everything is working fine so far, and there have been no crashes yet, which is a good sign. Previous versions usually crashed immediately after installation and running. I'll keep an eye on it to see how it's going. Thanks.
