Known issues While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows. tbd

With the Fences 5.81 beta release today, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues. [confluence title=""]https://stardock.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SHC/pages/1709047809/Software+Beta+Insider+Template[/confluence] Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Fences 5 a better product.

If I were less kind to MS, I would say they are using them as continued beta testers. That is not to say that we are not looking at your issue, we are, its prioritized with all this in mind. Se

I posted this the another thread and another user said that he was using Windows Insider 3858 and had no problems
However, Basj makes a fair point. There is a near absolute certainty that you, and any other early Windows version adopters, have seen issues with apps or fu

So a couple things. 1) That list we found does not update with new groups until the dialog is closed and re-opened, so if you close and re-open the dialog, I'm wondering if anything appears. We've fixed this for our next beta release v5.81 coming out soon, in addition to adding additional messaging there instead of it just being blank.
Fences sometimes "glitches" and moves away from the main monitor even when there has been no changes in the settings for years. This very thing happened today, but I saw there was an update for Fences so I went and did that first. So yes, renaming does not function as it once did. No doubt, and as the OP stated, you created 'backups' to account for different monitor configurations that you were in - basically following the support we gave for such situation. However, if with the new 'store layouts on a per-monitor-basis, those workarounds are no longer necessary. Sean Drohan Stardock Product Lifecycle Manager
