The startup impact of having the MP service active is very very minimal. Does this happen with incognito Chrome instances? If it is random, it may take some time to see, however, I (personally) would like to see if an extension you have is causing an issue.

There is not an MSI option for Fences. That said, there are things we can provide to help with a deployment (silent install options for example).

The update you are probably referring to is stated in Object Desktop Manager. Its likely because of the .1 - its being fixed but if you have 3.08, you are good.

Under any accounts where audio fails (both where MP is a Primary or Secondary), and just as a test, totally disable Windows Firewall on each and for each connection type (Public, Domain, Private, etc): Also, if you have any other 3rd party AV products, disable them (again, as a test) completely.
