I thought when you use a credit card to buy something the conversion cost is passed on to the user, not the company that sells the item. Also some credit cards do not change a conversion fee and Paypal doesn't or at least it use to not.

Window Blinds is a great product and I have had zero issues with on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.
Will Windows Blinds 8 be a Windows 8 only program or an update to Windows Blinds 7 with new features/improvements? Stardock's subscription system has worked great for me and even Microsoft is using it now.

But then, Apple never made inroads into the PC/OS market because it never allowed an open OS and prevented 3rd party developers from creating for the platform. [quote who="starkers" reply="108" id="3330043"] Okay, MS could have done better with Win 8's UI, but various UI improvement programs would still have emerged regardless. I was never able to get fences to work right on Windows 7 x64 so I just stopped using it. I did submit a support ticket as well and never got a resolution to my issue. I didn't see any benefit to Windows 8 and trying to make Windows 8 look like Windows 7 just to run the latest version of Windows was frankly stupid on my part. If you have a choice, just use Windows 7 and the latest version of WindowBlinds. It will gladly welcome you back as a long lost old friend.
I also have not been able to get it to run on w7 x64 ultimate.
If I install DesktopX (public) on my Windwos 7 64 ulitmate, it just crashes with comments about being out of memory and an error in spBtn.dll. I disable Eset AV and it still doesn't work. Since I use Paragon to image my system, I can restore it to before the install and install it again with the same result. As my system is fairly common place in terms of hardware and software and I have plenty of memory, diskspace and CPU power, it seems the culprit here is DestopX.</
