No way am I paying for a v3 at this point. V2 is very laggy on my system. My repeated posts about my issues with proper documentation, along with other users backing up my issues, have fallen on deaf ears. I'm not going to pay for software that isn't properly maintained

Blank chrome/edge apps still a issue since v1
The issue still persists for me regardless of taskbar display setting. Slow loading every time you open and close the app of icon. Sometimes the icon just never appears. Other times when clicking through the windows the app will just stop displaying the icon.
I would have thought my (and others) issue of chrome app icons just not displaying. Would be a priority to get fixed. This has been a issue since v1. My original post was outright ignored. And then another gained some traction but no action has been made, It's becoming clear v2 is half baked and stardock is incapable to get ahead of the issues being brought forward. When you charge for software users are going to expect issues fixed timely as they should.
Can we get an update on Internal ref: ODNT-7441? It wasn't addressed in the version. Thanks

I had posted about this two weeks ago was hoping to see a fix in these new versions but nothing. It's not just edge it's chrome installed apps too. This is not a one off case. This actually has been happening for me ever since enhanced taskbar was implemented. I just didn't use enhanced taskbar. Further observation. If I pin it the icon loads into place if I unpin and reload it'll be blank.

I use browser apps In window mode for many things including online streaming sites and Google bard. I get the same result for chrome and edge. After trying sometimes and never combine. My taskbar doesn't reflect the settings. Am I missing something? I did click restart explorer.
I'd say about 1 out of 3 times the apps list doesn't show. This started with the latest version for me.
The start product have never had the best animation speed. But I feel it's worse with start11. Is there any plan to smooth out start menu opening animations? Also, with the latest version (.94) Sometimes when clicked The menu doesn't activate, at least with win11 layout. Another user said the same in discord. Thanks
Yeah i'd like to see some new features added to start8 especially since news has broke that the new start menu may not come out till next year. I think start8 Ver 2 and modern mix merge into the same app it would be that screen shot. Charge for the upgrade. Really beat M$ at their game.
In terms of start8 if they keep updating it I will keep using it. From what I saw in the video of the new start menu I don't really need/want and live tiles in the start menu. I hope stardock at least maintain compatibility with future windows updates..
Yeah but with another update later this year there will be windowed modern apps. If you can wait a bit there is no reason to buy modernmix at this point. Stardock should add new features or make it free. Native support will most likely be less jank then modernmix current implementation anyways.
