Thanks, I had tried that. It apparently comes from one of the tools I HAD purchased, either Fences or ModernMix. Anyway, I decided to try the subscription for a year (quite cheap since I already subscribe to two tools). Thanks.
This window has popped up for nearly a year, and I'm finally getting around to trying to kill it off. I love Fences, but don't need any of the features of Start8, as I've found solutions to all problems with 8.1. Not that Start8 doesn't add lots of nice/slick features...I just don't need them, and want it to stop asking me to try it (again) at each reboot. THANKS! Pete A
