After working with it for awhile, the window of opportunity to recover the mouse cursor is extremely small, it's easier just to pop up remote desktop window to shut the other computer down rather than dealing with the cursor recovery for mouse.
The software recently upgraded itself to 4.07, and that seems to fix the problem
When using Seamless mode. When I tell the remote computer to shutdown, the mouse curser is stuck on the remote computer and will not return to the primary computer, even when the remote computer is finished powering down. The only way to recover is to logout of the primary computer and log back in I do have the shift key active to move between computers. I did try setting up a hotkey to switch back to the primary, but it messes up both the mouse and keyboard inpu
Like I said in my 1st message, I already checked my stardock account, it originally said I had 5 license when I upgraded my 5 pack to v2, I upgraded to start11 v2 on 3 computer's. They all 3 currently show up on my stardock account as licensed for v2. But now the start11 upgrade to v2 says I only have 1 license. Not 5.
I upgraded my 5 pack Start11 v1 to v2, everything was fine, my account said I had 5 licenses, and I had it installed on 3 computers, last week I went to install it on a 4th computer and it said License was used up, I checked my account, and it has the 3 v2 installs I had done previously, but now says I only have 1 License, not 5 and will not allow me to install a 4th copy. Hi Dr W, been really busy, but I did not forget you. installed the update, V6.0.2.6, rebooted 3 times without any problems with tags moving back to previous positions, sent a report. Normally they start moving back to the original position after the first reboot. I will keep you updated over the next few days if they start moving again after booting up. Thanks Mike Hoida
It does get a little bit stranger, after several reboots the tab eventually moves all the way back to the third position, were it originally was before I started moving the tabs around. But that usually takes several reboots when I leave it in the second position rather than reloading from the backup and moving it back to the first. 1 first reboot moves the tab back to the second position . if I use the menu, tabs, move tabs left, they move, and are fine until when I boot up the computer the next day. then they are reverted back to the original positions. I can do a backup in fences, and the next day use that backup to put them back to the new positions I wanted them in. this is starting this is where I wanted them moved

Fences has controls to move the tabs to the left and right on a fence, the problem is, it resets the tabs back to there original position after every reboot. I can back up the layout after making the changes and restore the layout manually after the reboot to to return the tabs to where I want. running current version of windows 11, Microsoft store apps can not be excluded in the current version of WindowBinds 11, is there a work around for this? Apparently Windows Store apps are placed inside a container or you cannot access them or any other data.
is there any problem uninstalling object desktop and not using it? will the other apps run without it and update, or do I need to do manual updates of the other apps? object desktop does not recognize when you update the software, it keeps sending me notices and telling me that there's updates available even though I have the current software. even when I install the current update and reboot, it still says updates are available upon reboot. I am an Object Desktop Member, I am using windows 11, I would like to try fences 4, but on the download page ,I can not find a fences 4 alpha download, only fences 3.13 and pro. as far as I know object desktop will not run on windows 11. so how do I get the Alpha?

After recent updates on both of these apps, they now display "Reboot Required" next to the App name in Object Desktop, and they never clear no matter how many times you reboot. it does not seem to cause any problems, just strange.
