Yeah, I'm cool with the whole "please dont rush it" vibe... but I was a bit disappointed that lots of milestones that dev set were not met by months... we were supposed to see some form of progress like in February or something? It's now end of May. Couldn't someone from Stardock come out with a bit more of a comprehensive update on the priorities and how things are tracking?
I can't help but feel all this "activity"/"updates" around the founders edition is just a big misdirection. You see, the forum thread is called Tentative Schedule not Oh look! Let's talk about founders edition! I have no problem with people that missed out, from getting a second round of money-grab from the developers, but it would be a respectful and nice thing to give the first rounders an update. There is always a great balance between holding onto the past, and reaching into the future. I think anyone "on board this train" of the Star Control reboot should accept that there will be differences. Differences are good, its a fresh exploration - I love it.
