So Chrome had a flag called: chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar Which you could disable Chrome's Windows10-custom-titlebar but now the option is not there anymore and WindowsBlind does not skin Chrome anymore? Any idea how to make Chrome skinnable again?
The pending WB update should resolve this issue. For reasons beyond me, explorer now double paints those areas, firstly with the colour from the theme and then with COLOR_WINDOW. Obviously this isn't ideal for skins that opted not to use that value for explorer backgrounds.
This is correct. I notice this too. Let's hope Team Stardock can find a solution. I have faith in you guys!&n
@ Basj Thank you for the quick responses. By the way, a little off topic but is there any way I can support Stardock? I bought the apps I wanted a long time ago but since then I did not buy anything else and I want
@basj Do you guys think you can get this to work again? I would really like the Explorer Folder Bar Background color to work again. <span style="background-color: #fdfdfd; font-size: 2
@basj Yes that's cool and all but the problem with your method in changing the "System Colour : Window" is that it affects other programs like Microsoft Office. Just look at what that did to Word for example: <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/46/99/4699758/d499
Windows 10 Home Version 1809 OS build 17763.475 WindowsBlind10 version 10.74. After this update which was installed on 2019-May-2nd, the new colour is no longer being applied for the Explorer Folder Bar Background with WindowsBlind10 version 10.74. Please look into this as soon as possible and update the community on what's happening. Thanks... <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/46/99/4699758/979a2e0b-1648-4bbd-9ef6-9f10e01bb6c0.pn
Quoting AzimaEntertainment, reply 2 Are you sure there is no way I can disable Discord's Theme/Skin engine? From this: https
Hello, From what I can see and as a user of Windowblinds for a long time, what I can say is that Discord has its own theme engine. Which is not compatible with Windowblinds. There are programs out there which also not compatible with windowblinds because each of them use their own Theme/Skin engine. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Are
I don't understand why Discord program which is a win32 program doesn't get skinned using Windows10 Blinds? Just look at the buttons... and header of the program window... It's not even being skinned. This is NOT even a WUP app... This is win32 or win64 program. Why does Discord over wright my skin? And how do I enable my skin on Discord? I'm using the latest Windows10 update. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/46/99/4699758/a892e0d6-f25e-4164-822f-4cd3247e
Where do I download the latest Windows10 Blinds beta?
I do apologise for the delays with the WB update. Unfortunately the issue was not spotted during the insider builds. I was hoping we could simply put out an update with the fix, but it became apparent there were other things which needed addressing too, so the update has to wait for those too. The good news is one of the remaining sticking points (an issue with VS 2017) has been addressed now and the upd
Yes please. I would like this to be fixed soon. I hate not being able to use WindowsBlind10 all because of this retarded Windows10 update. :(
At first when I got this update, I thought my Windows10 update was just buggy so I rolled back. After getting the Windows10 update again, I decided to do some trail and error and I found out that anytime I apply a WindowBlinds10 skin, the Timeline / Task view function breaks and anytime I go back to default theme after restarting, Timeline / Task view function works again as intended. Also another thing I discovered is when I use WindowsFX... Timeline / Task View button refuses to work. There
Will it be addressed though? And how come this is an app by app cases?
I was just about to make this post till I found this. Windows 10, version 1803 Spring Creator's Update doesn't skin the settings menu at all. Also the Skype people's shortcut doesn't skin either. <span style="font-fam
I love Windows Blind and IconPackager and CursorFX! I love Stardock Software! Now I just tested out the Universal UWP File Explorer App and noticed that the icons are boring yellow folders and that my IconPackager custom icons did not affect any of the icons in that new File Explorer App Microsoft is developing. It is very possible that Microsoft will be removing the Desktop File Explorer sometime in the future in favor of this New File Explorer App and when that happens I want to kno
Quoting ZubaZ, reply 6 This is resolved by Microsoft in Windows 10 build 16184.1001 It was actually fixed in an earlier Fast Ring build. As I said in my prior post: "Build 16176 appears to not have any of the problems."
</p
Hey I wanted to list a few issues CursorFX has when using the new Windows10 Creator's Update. * Microsoft Edge Browser does Not respond when you click or mouse scrolling * Netflix App does not respond to any clicks or mouse scrolling * GetHelp App does not respond to any Clicks or mouse Scrolling * TileCreator App does not respond to any clicks or mouse scrolling * Kindle App does not respond to any Clicks or mouse Scrol
UPDATE: I can see why it's in (Beta) now. :) The some programs like Chrome and such, the skins are transparent and don't work. Hopefully Stardock finds a solution to this and release it out of beta. I'm just excited cause I can't wait for that day to come!
Why the HELL is this considered (Beta)? It runs smooth, flawlessly and it's SO AWESOME AND INCREDIBLE!!!! I Dont Get why this isn't Standard download. lol I LOVE IT! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE STARDOCK! :D Now I can enjoy UWP apps with my theme of choice!
Mr. Banfield is correct. Some Apps, however, have UI menus, others don't. Reduced 64% Original 933 x 494
Okay how did you do that!? <p
When will we be able to skin the menu buttons on UWP apps? They look out of place with my entire WindowsBlind10 programs. =(
Yes, you are free to use the products after your subscription expires, but... What they're not so quick to point out is that Windows updates can break Stardock products. For instance, the recent Windows 10 Anniversary Update broke Windowblinds. In fact it led to a black desktop screen. There was no obvious sign that it was Windowblinds that caused it and Stardock did not email their customers. There was a Windowblinds update tha
Does anyone have a link to where I can download WindowsXP icons for IconPackager10 and WindowsXP skins for WindowsBlind10? I would LOVE to transform my PC for nostalgia sakes.
Thanks guys! I feel a lot safer now knowing these apps will always be mine even when the subscription fee ends. Because of this, I'm more likely to do business with Stardock and even re-sub next year (As long as It's not like Adobe CC where you get screwed over if you stop paying the subscription fee which is bullshit.) Anyways, one last concern I have is: After the subscription service ends, will I still be able to use my produ
