FANTASTIC JOB! Thank you so much Stardock team! This is a life-changing improvement to Windows 11. I have been using StartAllBack for a vertical sidebar but I didn't realize how much it was slowing down my system until I switched to Start11. I am super happy with it and I absolutely love the "Pin Folder Menu" button. This is the best launchpad for Windows I have ever used -- simple and fast. My one complaint: For those of us who have a little widt

I suffer from eyestrain and I love Windowblinds' ability to reduce eyestrain by softening the bright whites. I saw someone mention how it affects apps like Excel, but I love the fact that I can change the default background color in Excel spreadsheets. Below, you can see how I modified the "Modern" theme to suit my taste: Thank

OK, I changed all the web URLs for OneDrive docs to C:\ file paths, including changing the forward slash delimiting subfolders to backslashes. All the files opened normally but still did not group . UGH! It was worth a try, for sure.

They are synched locally and mapped to C:\Users\lheyman\OneDrive - ~~~.docx. I will try manually editing the Groupy text file to see if that works.

Maybe that's the problem. It's never worked. I assumed that what was happening was expected behavior. BUUUUTTTT when I tried grouping some local Word files, saving the group, and restoring, VIOLA! they were grouped. So, I think you're right that the problem is that the files are on my OneDrive. Can you think of any work-around? Edit: I should add that I really need to keep those files on OneDrive, so storing locall

I replaced some private file path/names with "~~~". These files contain tracking charts that I access and update several times a week. Groupy is great for this use, but it is annoying regrouping them. I can hold the control key down to cause new windows to auto-group, but Word thinks I want to open in safe mode when I do that, which is also annoying. Thanks very much for your help!!!!! Yes. It doesn’t matter how I open a saved group, whether from the start menu or otherwise, they always appear as separate windows, not “grouped.” I then have to manually re-group them. not sure why. Also, I am working with Windows Word documents, so that should not be an issue.

I have Groupy set so that windows only get grouped when I hold down the shift key. I have had zero problems with it and find it a real enhancement to Windows. :)

When I restore saved a saved group, the applications come up as separate apps, not grouped with tabs. Is there a way to change that behavior so that the restored group looks like the one I saved (all groupy’d together)?

I have a theory that this is actually caused by a bug in Windows 10 — specifically in inconsistent or improper scaling for hi resolution monitors. My monitor is 4K and I have noticed weird scaling around the task tray. When I click the OneDrive icon in the task tray, the pop up context menu is HUGE. I can’t figure out why. Other apps in the task tray have normal size context menus. But to me, it still indicates that this could be a scaling problem. &n

I created a clean admin account and disabled services and startup operations, then I ran the batch file. Everything worked no problem. I then selected the modern skin and it was applied correctly. So it definitely seems that there is a conflict somewhere with my profile or software on my main account. Any suggestions on how to narrow it down? Thanks again for helping me on this. --Lenny

Yes, this is definitely a Windowblinds issue. I've tried uninstalling Windowblinds and the problem goes away. It returned when I reinstalled Windowblinds. Also,k it's any skin. I am using the "Modern" one that comes with Windowblinds, but it happens with any of them that I've tried. Also the resolution setting or monitor resolution doesn't affect it. I'll add that there is probably something going on with my work laptop specifically because it doesn't ha

I have a frustrating problem with the taskbar in vertical configuration. The system tray icons are pushed down, which pushes the clock down, which is then covered by the notifications icon. See the linked screen-grab. I can fix it temporarily by moving the taskbar to horizontal configuration, and then moving it back. But it messes up again, e.g., when it is resized or new task tray icons are added. This happens on my work laptop. My personal laptop does not

I'd like the ability to designate a fenced area for text only -- and make it like a permanent and persistent notepad that i can paste text into and out of. Another idea is to designate a fenced area as list the last ten objects copied to the Windows clipboard. I can see either of these features to be extremely useful in my day-to-day work. I LOVE the ability in Fences Pro to designate a fenced area for all new icons.
