You have to change the video access to public. When it's private, only you can see it.

A screenshot of what you are seeing would be useful to help you. Also the full Windows version number (use winver.exe from the command line) and what Start 11 version you are running.

Fonts are part of the skin designs, and a lot of blinds would not look like the creators intended them to and some would not look good at all. I wouldn't have my hopes up that Stardock will add the option to not change the fonts in Windowblinds, so the options you have are those mentioned above.
