I dont have those options... I have the core mod plus the allegicance one that says it adds the 6 ships.. Do i need anything else to make it work?

Hey, I have installed the core mod and the one that adds 6 new ships. The menu background has changed and everything. But where do you build the new ships from? In the diplomacy tree there is some researches i cant click or when i hover over it it says nothing. So how do i build the 6 new ships and the super caps? AKA the phoenix.
