Deskscapes 8, and my codec are updated as well. I did another fresh reinstall, and this time (I thought I had done this before as I did have a product key) I installed Start 8 along with it. Both were installed using the troubleshooter, as compatible with windows 8, and it seems to be working right now. Every time I turn my computer off and on again It's still working... I don't know if its a combination of having the updated K-Light (Basic) 64-Bit codec, Un-checking the Show task vie

Ok, So I am unable to get DeskScapes to work properly. Whenever I restart my computer it freezes. It randomly freezes when I'm on my computer. I am running Windows 10 - 64 bit I have done the standard troubleshooting, and run it in compatibility mode. Did a fresh install. Use the KLight Codec pack. and so on. When I select a background, and apply it, sometimes it works, other times I get the Active Movie Window... Any help for this?
