why is there no response here, maybe other people have the same problem? heres what I've been told: Try setting Auto-Arrange by right clicking your desktop and selecting View-Auto Arrange. Also try aligning them to grid. but this is no solution because I dont want auto arrangement - i want self arranged icons

When copying files in Explorer to desktop they appear in top left corner and mess up my icon sorting! Where can i disable that behaviour? Icons should be added at next available 'slot' at bottom left...
