I think I'm running v 1.03, though I'm not sure. And the reason I messed about with the files is because although it does have widescreen support, if I change it to any of the sizes in the options menu, then it's either too small or too big.

I play my games on a widescreen TV, so I thought it would be a good idea to go into the settings of the game (Instructions at http://widescreengamingforum.com/dr/sins-solar-empire ) to change the resolution. When I start up the game, the intro movie doesn't load. The forum said that if this happens you simply have to press the esc
