Quoting Jafo, reply 103 The US isn't even willing to provide general health care for their OWN people.....they ain't going to do it for countries they can't find on a map. My what a big strawman you have there, grandpa. The "US" doesn't decide to give its people anything or not. The people decide what they want. The reason there is no single paye
Quoting Malachon, reply 63- redistributing unused food to the poor in this world (which I read in one of the comments) will destroy agriculture in some poor countries. Why? Imagine you are a farmer in one of those poor countries. You use quite a bit of the food yourself, but the rest you sell to other poor people in your area, supplementing your meager existence, and enabling you to buy fertilizer for example. Suddenly the poor people in

A few comments on the general idea: - printing money is not free money. It means effectively an inflation tax on all financial assets. So there will be losers, who will not be happy. Furthermore, as it leads to inflation, it will lead to higher nominal interest rates. People/countries that already have a lot of debt might not like that. - redistributing unused food to the poor in this world (which I read in one of the comments) will destroy agriculture in some

That is a scary attitude. I don't want to discuss this further with you.
I don't think I fully understand your dismay here, Frogboy. Aside from the way it is done, doesn't the current constitution already

I voted for continuing development of FE. In my opinion you have an excellent game here already, but with plenty of room for expansion and giving it more depth and character. A return of the underground map as we had in MoM would be great, but I could also see alternate dimensions (elemental planes perhaps, or having a chance to go through one of those shadow rifts to another dimension with tons of bad demons) Could even tie some new factions into that. I could also see room for minor

Actually, I disagree. Seeing how few city spots there are in some games, getting a 'sure thing' city spot for a mere 300 mana would be too cheap. Perhaps the only thing that needs to change is that the explanation of the spell gives a little more insight as to where you have the best chance of finding new city spots. It may be frustrating to drop 300 mana on a dud spellcast, and the first time I tried it, I think it cost me at least 5-7 tries to get a citylocation where I

Isn't the most obvious solution already in the game as a concept? If I want my units to have more soldiers, I need to research certain techs. If I want my army stacks to contain more units, I need to research certain techs. So, solution: allow all civilizations to start with a maximum of 3 cities, and add say 4 of 5 techs to the research trees to increase this number. Rationale behind it would be that it would take a more advanced civilization to efficiently manage a larger number
