Also, why would enhanced ship rendering be causing that for me? Does it need a more powerful graphics processor?

I just bought GalCiv2 Ultimate off of Impulse. I'm getting constant flickering. The ship models all flicker. So do the effects in the background. If I turn off enhanced ship rendering, the ships stop flickering, but I can't get the backgrounds to stop. I'm running Windows 7 x64. I have an SU7300 processor (1.3GHz C2D), 4GB of RAM and Intel GMA 4500MHD. Certainly not a powerhouse, but it should be enough to run this game, and it exceeds the system requiremen
