I downloaded Fences Public 1.01 recently, I have this problem: 1. Recycle Bin is in a fence 2. Recycle Bin is excluded from quick-hide 3. Desktop is hidden 4. Right-click on Recycle Bin and select Open 5. Recycle Bin is detached from the fence and returned to desktop. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. -- brianchon

I have a program that can define (by SystemParametersInfo) the Windows desktop work area. I knew that this wasn't a standard way to allocate space within the desktop, anyway, the screen is too wide these days for non-movies. I customized the work area to leave some edge space intended for desktop icons. The Fences cut the icons outside the customized work area, the translucent band holding the icons was showing, though. <
