Even though it is the latest version on a brand new computer?

I was a Fences 1.0 user for years on Windows 7 with no problems. Got a new computer with Windows 10 & had to buy Fences 3.0. Got it set up. Nothing fancy. Just locked fences on 1 screen. However, every time my monitor turns off & other times as well, my icons play musical chairs. They go all over the desktop. Some within fences, some out of fences. If it weren't for the snapshots, I wouldn't even be using Fences. The only thing I can think of is that my screen resolution is at 1920 x

I agree. Would like to choose where the icon goes.
