I'm working on some software for a restaurant where their touchscreen 'Dinerware' software runs overtop everything. However, you can alt+tab and get into the browser but typically a keyboard is not connected. At the moment, when an order comes through the web we have a growl notification with a link that launches the browser so they can see what's been ordered and prepare the dish. At that point you have the Windows startbar on screen so they can go back into Dinerware and
