Hi M-203, I have just replied to your email. Hopefully this will resolve the problem.
Hi aviatorrockon, I have responded to your support ticket. Note that a response generally takes 2 business days (more or less depending on current workload).
Unfortunately, the server that this is hosted on is experiencing problems. We hope to have the issue fixed soon, but I don't have an ETA at this time.
That removed all the software I had spent two days installing and I then had to reinstall the operating system from the restore partition to get my desktop back.
Do you mean that all the icons on the desktop were missing? If that's the case, then simply double-clicking the desktop would have resolved the problem. Double-clicking on the desktop toggles the quick-hide feature.
The problem is that ObjectDock is displaying the 16x16 icon as 32x32. The stretching of the icon results in it looking very blurry.
Not sure about any major development in the next month. Bug reports do get forwarded to the developer, however. Are you having any specific issues with ObjectDock?
We constantly scan the files hosted on Impulse for threats, so this is likely a false positive. Just as a sanity check, try uploading the reported files to http://www.virustotal.com/ so that you can see if this is being picked up by many other antivirus engines.
Not currently - Fences installs for all users. However, the fences themselves are created per-user, so the other users could simply not create fences.
Since Fences has been released, and there have been a decent amount of bugfixes, you should update from the release candidate. You can download the latest version either through Impulse or from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/downloads.asp
ObjectDock is still itself a 32-bit application. That being said, it has support for 64-bit versions of Windows now (whereas ObjectDock v1.9 did not).
You can drag each fence individually (if 'lock fences' isn't enabled), but there isn't a way to move multiple at once.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to have the launcher shortcut in objectdock flash when there is a new message. Is there perhaps a system tray icon that changes when there is an incoming message? If so, you could enable showing the system tray.
Do you perhaps have an antivirus software that is interfering with the Fences process that is plugging into Explorer? If so, try adding exceptions to your antivirus for Fences and its accompanying DLLs in the Fences installation directory.
Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?
I have the exact same problem. I downloaded and installed-reinstalled the free version twice just now, but it persists. It's just kinda anoying.
The free version of Fences has not yet been updated to include the language fixes. If you upgrade to Fences Pro, the issue is resolved. Generally speaking, the free version lags behind the pro version in updates.
There is a flyout menu under Add -> Docklet -> Flyout Docklet that does what you are looking for. The Mac-Like docklet you have seen is likely the stack docklet, which is a third-party docklet created for ObjectDock.
ObjectDock 2 does not currently allow for languages other than English.
THe game isn't really running out of memory. It can't be. I've had a resorce monitor up and watching, of my 12gb i'm only using 3.
Since Elemental is a 32-bit game, the operating system limits the game process to 2 GB of memory.
You can currently only show running applications in a quicklauch/zoomer dock.
What operating system are you currently using? Which versions of the .NET framework do you currently have installed? Have you recently uninstalled any system fonts?
Not for the shortcut itself. You could enable the system tray to show the notify icon there (if the application has one).
Are you referring to ObjectDock or ObjectDesktop?
A similar feature request exists for "rolling up" the fence into itself. Regarding opening things with a single-click, this is possible through Windows itself (Start->Control Panel->Folder Options->Single-Click).
