That's a shame. I'm playing on a large map and haven't run into any other kingdoms yet but my first heir is now an adult and playable. I have another champion I'd like to pair him with but guess he'll be single. I had thought you could only have one heir but my character and his wife now have four. Is there a limit set on how many can be born?
Not really sure how multiplayer is even going to work when games can take a long time. I guess the maps will be small or people will be playing games several hours long.
Getting messages that another kingdom was destroyed is annoying. Why should I even be getting those messages when I haven't even run into another kingdom at all? If had some contact, with anyone, it would be understand able. You should be discovering the ruins of a kingdom instead if they are destroyed before you meet them.
Can you marry off children to other hired champions or to other kingdoms?
I installed the game last night and updated it right away to 1.07. So I really have no personal knowledge of the state of the game beyond this. Right away I couldn't but compare certain aspects with Civilization 4. Specifically in being given feedback on when my turn is over. If I leave a unit idle it would be nice to be prompted that the unit is actually there. It can be easy to forget about it. I did run into an issue trying to play the campaign such as it was. Thanks stax77. One more question. When children are born do you get to design them (hair and skin color, etc) or simply name them and their picture is automatically generated to look a certain way regardless of what your main character looks like?

It's one thing to take the blame being the leader of a group, company, etc. However reading up on the issues Elemental has had and is still having (and improving it seems) I do have to question what was the QA team doing. Opinions from beta testers is one thing. However there had to be an internal team doing this. Exactly what were they doing that they didn't catch or even see some of these things. Isn't it a QA team's job to look at the state of a game? I fully expect PC games to be unfinish
Hi. Thinking of buying Elemental but have a question. When creating your character can you pick the skin color of the character? I watched the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5wya5o1An8 but couldn't confirm if you could do this in addition to changing hair color, type of face and clothes. Is changing skin color possible? Thanks
I have to say this is a great post. I've usually enjoyed the Stardock games I've played in the past. While I've been weary of checking out Elemental due to what I've heard this makes me more likely to take a chance on it. I'm a fantasy fan and a fan of strategy games so a mix is always welcome. Next week I'll most likely buy it as this week the gaming budget has gone to Metroid Other M and The Witcher (via Impulse). Edit: Didn't get Metroid in the end so I might end up
