I did this [checked it while doing diagnostics] and everything was fine. Uninstalling Fences was the only way I could regain the ability to relocate the icons. Tried installing Fences after & result was the same [all icons locked]. There was a short period of time during reboot [before Fences actually started] when I could move an icon But, as soon as Fences kicked in, the icons all went to a fixed position and then became "locked" again. I just upgraded one of my PCs from W7 to W10 but, after the upgrade, the free icons on the desktop became immovable and when I tried to move them I got a little circle with an diagonal line. I removed Fences & reinstalled but the very same thing happened. I have been using Fences ever since vs 1.0 came out & I did purchase 3.0 when it came out but am seriously disappointed as I've been reading that other user/owners as far back as 2016 have been reporting the same problem with little
"My Colours" seems to have even removed it from the Programs. I've removed My Colours from the computer. Now I can't even reinstall it [Fences] as it says that the executable file is disabled. How do I go about re-enabling the executable file so I can reinstall the software? Panhandler
