You should give Cities in Motion a try. It's the spiritual successor of The Traffic Giant and plays very well. For 20 bucks it's also relatively cheap.

I liked its idea since they announced Magicka. As it looks Paradox and Arrowhead are having a huge succe with the games. Btw: I like their patching appeal: One patch each day until they fixed their mess! ;)

I really can't understand the people who are crying now. Stardock is hiring new people for the game and some of you have nothing to do but bitching around. Every other company would have buried the game after this desastrous launch (go and ask Bobby K. what HE would have done...). And now Stardock hires someone with a lot of experience in this genre and you want to hunt him through the village because of some bad design decisions in Civ V? Sorry, but this is ridiculous. <a href="http://dict.l

Your friends can join and leave a game every time they want. You can play Solo, LAN or Online. I use Gamersgate, Impulse and Steam. - Gamersgate: I buy my paradox games from it, because Paradox Interactive is heavily connected with Gamersgate and so you will get patches and addons faster than on any other distribution platform - Impulse: Same as PI/Gamersgate. All my Stardock games are bought on Impulse (or retail), because there is the fastest patch distribution (and no other alternative ;)) - Steam: Just some small indi games; mostly these games which can't be
