I did some tinkering the last time I was in Fences. It rearranged all my icons into fences it created. And I discovered that if I try to move an item on the desktop to another spot it just snaps right back where it was. Exception: I can move it to a fence, but not just anywhere on the desktop. For instance, my Trash icon ended up in the upper left corner. I want it in the lower right corner, where it's always been, but I can not move it there. Please help.

I don't want the titles. Is there any way I can remove that spacing where the title bar sits?

Ok, now can you tell me how to remove a Fence? I don't get an option to delete when I right click on the fence. Never mind. Just figured it out. Thanks for the help.

All the icon shortcuts that I had stored within the fence are there when I go to C\Users\Name\Desktop, but neither the fence or the icons appear on my desktop.

I have no idea what happened. I went to move some random icons over to the right of my screen, from the left, and my one fence that I have on my desktop is gone. How do I find it?

Where do I find the latest version to download without having to pay for it again? the link included ( https://stardock.cachefly.net/Fences_3.09_setup_sd.exe) requires me to purchase the program, which I have already done.

I just tried to update Fences and I got a window telling me "A decompression error has occurred. (#2026) Unknown decompression error.

I haven't used Fences for a while. When I had it before, I could right click on any file or item, select to "Exclude this icon from Fences quick-hide" and it would be so. It will no longer do that in the one I installed this evening. I can exclude an entire Fence, but even though the option appears in my context menu, I can not exclude individual items. Can anyone help?

Is the Fences Pro version of this product out yet? And if so, where can I get it? I came across this program in my Worldstart newsletter. I recommended it to a friend and she's telling me things about it that aren't available in my program. She said there were two options when she went to download and she chose the second. I came back to the site and I sure couldn't find any more than the one download. Not a very critical question but I'd appreciate information if anyone
