If you really, really want to, you can make a faction with the Workshop feature, take all the drawbacks and none of the perks, then play a game with just you (using a well default faction) and the custom, broken faction. That should give you even more of an edge. My only advice is to build up your Soverign's essence. Spells are going to save you in the early game. I like a high intelligence and high wisdom. Then I pick off the critters until I ha
I, too, would really like to see units merging into squads. With regard to disbanding units -- yeah, you get citizens back, but you've lost all those precious gildar, which so far I never have enough of. With regard to upgrading -- it'd have to have a cost: perhaps the difference in gold and metal from the original to the new? And perhaps costing some training time?
TERRIBLE example, my man. I have tomorrow off, so if you guys could pull an all nighter for me, I would totally appreciate it. [e digicons][/e] Edit: HOLY CRAP!!! Sim 3 for half price. I just failed a Willpower roll. Nevermind guys, take your time.
*prays for some relief from out of memory purgatory*
That would be cool! Make it happen more often in the most powerful sov's nation... just as a little spice to the taste of power. [e digicons][/e]
Some neat shots. You guys build your cities =way=way=way= closer together than I build mine. I usually sprawl out to grab resources. You have a strategy there, or just a preference?
I've seen this too. I got about a billlion billion XP for killing a shrill with 1hp. He did however, have 13,000 attack power. Some number in memory got shifted. :-)
I tried this and got maybe 1 more turn before CtDs. Nice idea, maybe it will work for some. Looking in my error log, I see dozens of references to "x animation is leaking." I suspect that will need to be fixed. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
But are they Out Of Memory CTDs? Are they as frequent?
Couldn't you just install from the archive and then patch it normally?
I've had my character's kid change portraits to a regular unit's portrait. Same story with the regular unit's portal swapping to be the same as the kid's. I didn't try tweaking any portraits or anything. 90% certain I have a save game I can post or nab screenies out of.
We're not going anyplace. [e digicons][/e] Keep 'em coming.
GM: "You hear a faint sound. It's a.... rattle? Player: "A rattle? Like a snake?" GM: "No, softer." Player: "Well then, I--" GM: "TOO LATE! YOU'RE ALREADY DEAD."
Same here... except it is ever 2 turns like clock work. I got to turn 700 something and every third or fourth time I save, or there an autosave, the game dumps. Sucks so much, because the game is so much fun. I can stomach 2-3 restarts, then I have to take a break. [e digicons]O:)[/e] There is DAO and Mass Effect DLC this week, so that should me until the next patch or 1.1. Or I could start a new game and come back to this one later..... [e digi
Newbie question: Is there a limit to the number of cities I can build? I know food limits the number of people in a city, but is there a hard cap to how many cities I can own? I want to cover an island with city (and call it Tar Valon. >.> ) purely to amuse myself. I'll need to build like 2-3 cities to do it and don't want to end up having problems later in this game. Since I'm asking: Is there a way to sele
