Basicly, how is the damage calculate? For example, the attacker unit has 10 attack 4 defense and the defender 8 defense and 3 attack. How are the hits calculated? (10-8)+1d6 ?

As the final manual is really poor,can anyone explain a bit how it works? By the way are the shortcuts for cycling units actually working? I can't cycle units on the strategic map.. No scroll in tactical battles yet? :(

Though I'm not familiar with 7, you should be able to run it in a compatibility mode. If not there is a wonderful program called "DosBox" which emulates dos and allows for easy playing of older games. I actually prefer it over using the command prompt in Vista for gaming.
