Tactical battle mechanisms

As the final manual is really poor, can anyone explain a bit how it works?

By the way are the shortcuts for cycling units actually working? I can't cycle units on the strategic map..

No scroll in tactical battles yet? :(

dont know what you need exactly but in general you have 2 teams fighting, every unit has its own stats of which combat points decide the actions you can take

in your turn you can then move each unit in the order you prefer and/or attack when possible

sovereign and eventually some  other champion has the option to cast spells too( you can cast spells pressing the lil buton near mana in the bottom right of the screen)

melees units get counterattacked and some monsters have also special abilities(in the left bottom  of screen)

also potions and some other items apparently work as abilities

if you have any other question just ask

Basicly, how is the damage calculate?

For example, the attacker unit has 10 attack 4 defense and the defender 8 defense and 3 attack. How are the hits calculated?

(10-8)+1d6 ?

not sure 100% for the release but should be 1 roll for attackers attack and 1 roll for defender s defense(i "think" subtracted  from each other and if 0 its a miss)

and even if noone cares i still point out its better a less rng multiplicative system :D
