I use TeamViewer as well on a limited basis but without a license it times out on me. TV doesn't the justify cost of a license given that Remote Desktop is part of Windows This problem would appear to be related to RD more than anything else

I have dual monitors on workstation at a resolution of 2048 x 1152 and I frequently use Remote Desktop from my laptop (1600 x 900) to access the workstation. From time to time, (not always) when I close out of the laptop and return to the workstation all fences are empty and all icons are spread over the non-fenced areas of the two monitors. I have set the fences to be locked and unlocked and it doesn't make any difference. The only way I can reorganize the mess is to drag
